Highlight Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick

I'm not ashamed to say 80% of my lip colors are shades of nude. The others are peaches and pinks, but you can bet they're all versatile! It's no surprise then, when I checked out the Highlight Cosmetics liquid lipstick collection, the shade Sandstone Cashmere just spoke to me. It's a versatile, flattering nude that's great for any time of year and gives fantastic wear time.



Highlight Cosmetics' line of liquid lipsticks has a beautiful range of shades from nude to deep ruby red. They go on smooth, won't dry out your lips and contain ingredients to help smooth lips. Key ingredients include green tea, white tea, sea kelp, turmeric, and a benefit peptide which helps with moisture and smoothness.

What I Love |  This formula was comfortable to apply as well as once it dried down completely on my lips. There was no drying, settling or cracking which is ideal for a liquid lipstick! I also love that this nude didn't dry down darker than the tube. So many times I fall in love with liquid lipstick shades only to find that they appear 2-3 shades darker on my lips. That didn't happen with Sandstone Cashmere, it stayed true to color and it's gorgeous!


I also like that this formula has no scent, doesn't transfer once set and stays comfortable on the lips. I would rather sacrifice longevity for the sake of comfort, but in this case you get both! This shade gives a polished look without looking overdone (perfect for my simple mommy makeup, let's face it!) and you can also dress it up if you're going out at night.
