L'oreal Holiday Makeup Kit

It seems like as soon as the weather gets cool, out come the holiday makeup kits! No complaints here, I love seeing the collections brands come out with. L'oreal has come out with an Ulta exclusive set with everything you need for a holiday party, New Year's Eve or holiday travel.

Infallible Paints Metallics in Rose Chrome and Brass Knuckles  |  These are two shades I would have picked out on my own - a gorgeous rosy pink and a versatile bronze. On their own or together these shades are really gorgeous and something I would reach for any time of year. I appreciate versatile shades like this in a holiday set because they're not exclusive to special occasions. I've never tried this formula before so this set gave me a chance to really dig in! They're super pigmented, creamy and feel really velvety on the skin. Love.

Infallible Black Eyeliner  |  You can never go wrong with a black eyeliner. This smooth formula lasts all day and easily smudges for a smokey look. I love using a bit of black liner on my outer lower lashline instead of mascara. It gives definition without looking too heavy. This formula lends itself well to dramatic as well as everyday looks.


Voluminous Original Mascara in Blackest Black  |  This cult favorite is a great addition to this set. Nothing finishes off an eye look like a coat of volumizing mascara. Mascara is a daily staple for me so I love getting them in makeup sets! This set comes with the shade Blackest Black which is great to make your lashes really stand out this holiday season.

Colour Riche Matte Lipstick in Blake's Red  |  Nothing says the holidays like a bold, red lip. This shade is a creamy matte that coordinates beautifully with the other aspects of this set because it has a bit of a pinky undertone. You can really see it once the shade is blotted and wears a bit. It's a great statement lip for holiday parties and a classic to enjoy all year long.
