Philosophy makes some of the most irresistible scents. I first fell in love with their shampoo, shower gel + bubble bath formula and then began exploring their line even further. When I got the Fresh Cream spray, I knew I wanted more products with that particular scent. I recently got the Fresh Cream Lotion and it's the perfect treat for this winter!
Formula | Nothing feels better in the cold, dry winter air, than a soothing coating of moisture on my skin. The Philosophy formula is rich, nourishing, and absorbs well into the skin so you're not left with greasy residue. It works well for quick application during the day as well as all over hydration after a shower. It's formulated with macadamia seed oil, olive fruit oil, shea butter and antioxidants for maximum nourishment this time of year. It's not too heavy or oily but I still feel like my skin gets quenched every time I use it.
Scent | Subtly sweet scents are my absolute favorite and Fresh Cream is exactly that. It's a delicious blend of vanilla, sugar, and smooth cream that give it a soft, sweet scent. It's not your typical vanilla scent that's super sweet and very distinctive. This scent is very soft and can easily take a backseat to a spray or perfume you have on. I'm always putting lotion on in the winter so I love having one that won't compete with any fragrance I'm already wearing.
Versatility | While you may like matching all your scents, you don't have to with this particular lotion. It would go well with any of Philosophy's shower gels that also have decadent scents. They all remind me of so many delicious desserts. And fresh cream would make the perfect topping right?
